For those who aren’t new, well, you see things are slightly different with me having a static homepage now. I just think it’d be easier to have one, quicker to load and quicker to get to where people need to go!

I was like..man…I should make a static page ^-^
I think it is handy to have it especially for new readers. Spiderg1rl has something like it (skylegacy.wordpress.com) but hers is the type of theme she has, I think. I like my theme so I figured out how to have a static page. Originally for Dannings but I liked the idea so much I decided to have it for Danevbies.
Well it looks great with the Danevbies.
And I just figured out how to make one for mine. XD Definitely considering doing it whenever I have time. lol

I love the static home page. How do you get your pictures to look so good? Mine look fine in the edit screen but when I publish my page they look like crap, haha. A little help would be great, but I can’t figure out how to message other wordpress users.
Thanks! And I checked out yours real quick just to see what your pictures looked like (I will go back and properly read it as soon as I can, I promise). Here is how I get my pictures.
First of all, I open up the cheat box and type in “testingcheatsenabled true” to get rid of the plumbob and thought bubbles. Then when it is time to take pictures I hit the tab button which takes me into movie mode, without recording. Then you can do all sorts of fun stuff. Arrows (up, down, left, right) takes you forward, back, left, right. Z and X zoom in or out (or you can use a mouse wheel, if you have a mouse wheel; It’s how I do it). Q and E raise or lower the camera. the > and < rotate the camera, or you can adjust the camera by moving the mouse (that's how I do it). Annnnd if you hold in shift and press A or D, it angles the camera. For instance this picture: http://danevbiepictures.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/screenshot-2.jpg is angled slightly.
Being in tab mode really helps being able to get closer pictures.
I also have my settings on as high as they will go without making my game lag. I really hope all this helps and if there's something you don't understand, feel free say something and I will try to explain better. I'm not a great explainer -sweatdrop-.
Thanks! And how are they so big in your blog? my pictures are tiny and I set them at the highest size when I put them in the edit page.
The theme of your blog will affect how big your pictures are. I think your theme has a smaller blogging section, so the pictures will be smaller. ^_^
